How does a Happy Home raise awareness of the drivers of happiness in our homes and communities?
This collaborative report explores the design of the spaces around us and their influence on our wellbeing and quality of life. Focusing on social sustainability, and drawing upon case studies in Copenhagen, Denmark and Birmingham, UK, the Happy Home report provides a set of evidence-based drivers, recommendations, and a toolbox outlining which qualities and elements in a home and neighborhood can increase happiness.
This project is a crucial first step in creating a blueprint for building spaces that respond to the needs of their inhabitants.
