
Micah Kaats
Analyst
Micah Kaats is an analyst at The Happiness Research Institute. He specializes in health-related quality of life measures, digital well-being, public economics, and quantitative analysis. He is committed to developing tools for policymakers to make effective, efficient, and evidence-based decisions regarding human happiness.
Besides his work at the institute, Micah is currently working on a project related to happiness and migration in partnership with the Erasmus Happiness Economics Research Organization (EHERO). He also works part-time as a graphic designer, musician, and volunteer.
Micah graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing two Master’s degrees in Economic Policy and Applied Ethics at Utrecht University.
