The data analyst

The Happiness Research Institute is looking for a talented student intern with a strong quantitative skill-set who has experience with the use of the statistical programme R and enjoys analyzing and interpreting big data sets. 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret quantitative data. 

  • Clean data.

  • Desk research.

  • Design surveys.

  • Assist in report writing. 

  • Ad-hoc tasks.

Your qualifications:

  • Be skilled and experienced in using the statistical programme R

  • Be fluent in English.

  • Have a strong understanding of quantitative methods.

  • Be able to work independently but also enjoy collaboration with colleagues and different stakeholders. 

  • Experience with happiness research will be considered as an advantage but is not a requirement.

The Happiness Research Institute is an independent think tank which seeks to understand why some societies and people are happier than others.

 

We advise and develop recommendations, do presentations and publish reports about happiness research for public institutions, private companies, municipalities, universities and organizations.

Practical:

  • The job takes places in Copenhagen.

  • The internship is remunerated.

  • We expect you to work on a full-time basis (37 hours a week)

  • Assist in report writing. 

  • Ad-hoc tasks.

  • Be fluent in English.

  • Have a solid understanding of quantitative methods.

  • Be able to work independently but also enjoy collaboration with colleagues and different stakeholders.
